Talk about unprofessional!!!!
I'm trying to buy a jacket off of a website for my nephew - I'd like to put it on my UK credit card, with a UK billing address, but send it to the States as we'll be there for Christmas. Their system won't let me specify a shipping address different from the billing address. I sent them what I thought was a courteous email asking for assistance. and got this and only this as a response
No can do..
Here's my original email - please tell me it did not warrant that response!
Hello: I'd like to purchase a jacket from your website, but I am having some trouble as I am resident in the UK, with a UK credit card and therefore billing address. I would like the jacket to be sent to a US address as it is a gift for a US resident. Please advise.

OMG! Thats so funny. I sent a request for someone to do some work for me today and this is the response I got....
Sorry no can do at such short notice.
I wonder if this is the same person...how strange is that!! Must be considered polite for British people to say!!!

You know what? You want return business? Don't treat people like crap. Take the time to say "Sorry, we're unable to meet your needs at this time" or something like that.

Luckily I hadn't placed an order! (and Rachel, it was an American company). What really annoys me is that it seems that they should be able to bypass their system and process the order manually since they have the capability to charge a UK credit card and a capability to mail within the US!
This is what I wrote back:
Your response was less than helpful. I found the product on another website and have ordered from them. I will be sure to tell my family and friends that your company is totally lacking in customer service.
ETA: I also went on the manufacturers website and emailed them that their dealer was rude and unhelpful and asked them to direct me to someone else who might carry their product.
