Did this happen to anyone?

I went to the gyno for a annual last week and they took a test...it came out positive but it was very light. The doctor said he would test again in a week just to get a darker positive. Well me and DH were so excited we bought tests and tested everyday until last Thursday. Well yesturday I was going to call my doctor so just to be sure I got another test....negative...another ....negative... I dont understand...me and dh are freaking out...and I only told my mom, but he told his whole family...I may still be preggers but im not sure. The doctor is sending me for blood work tomorrow. Had this happened to anyone or know someone that it has? Please help

Yes, this happened to me in the past. I tested positive for a few days and then negative. The reason was because I was having a chemical pregnancy. I got AF about 3 days after.
