Can't sleep on my right side!!!

Any time I lay on my right side to fall asleep, my whole right side goes totally numb from the belly down. What nerve suddenly decided to go haywire and cut off when I lay on my right side? I've always been a right side sleeper!! So now am I totally restricted to being a left side sleeper if we're not supposed to sleep on our backs?? I'm totally bummed!

You are supposed to sleep on your side but I always seem to wake up on my back anyway. My dr said not to worry about it.

Re: Can't sleep on my right side!!!

My dr told me as long as my BP was okay and I was comfy, to sleep however I liked even on my back. I slept on my back until about 30 weeks when it was no longer comfy.

My advice, get your sleep now, however you can, because I am now at 36 weeks sleeping isnt easy in any position!
