This is so frustrating...
Hi all. Sorry I haven't posted to any of your posts lately. My last drs appointment left me feeling tremendously discouraged and I just couldn't deal w/ even looking at the infertility or ttc boards much since. I spoke with my dr again this morning. He said that due to my insurance ending I should start the provera today and then we'll proceed with doing a cycle w/ IUI before the end of the year. He said if that didn't take and we still wanted to do IVF that there would need to be some time in between. Who knows what the new year will bring insurance wise, so we'll see if that's even a road that I'll be able to afford to travel down then. Anyway, I just wanted to update you. That's where we are. Thanks for all of your FMs and replies. You girls mean the world to me, and I don't know how I'd get thru all of this w/o you.

Good luck to you. I know it's difficult so please don't feel like you have to apologize. I think everyone understands there are times when you need your space. Good luck with the IUI and hopefully you won't need the IVF

Good luck with everything. I also wondered if you DH will be OK with the IUI. If he is, you will get a sperm wash and a count, since you said your DH didn't want a s/a.

Re: This is so frustrating...
Sorry about all that you have been going through. I understand how frustrating it is about the lack of insurance. I hope that your IF insurance remains the same next year. There are state grants out there. If you decide to do IVF, ask you doctor about a grant. I don't know much about the State Grant but DM24angel was a recipient. She may be able to give you some insight. I rec'd a grant through a private organization (www.inciid.org) but I had to reject it once we moved to NY and I found a job with IF benefits. If you want more info about INCIID, please feel free to FM me.
