I have a question...
SIL is gonna be Ryans godmother...she lives in MD and is here this weekend, we are supposed to go pick out his gown...however she cant get together until 5, and "litlle dickens" the store i wanted to go to will be closed...
Where else can I look???
ALSO- she'll be here to visit 5 days b4 his christening ( one of those days is Thanksgiving) she suggested we wait to get it until then... I think thats a little risky-being so close to the christening itself- dont you???

I wouldn't cut it that close to the Christening.  You may not be able to find something at that point..(or maybe you will)..but why take that chance ya know??
Is there anyway you can go to the store and buy the outfit, and she can give you the $$ after. I know it defeats the purpose, b/c she's the Godmother and all, but if you have your heart set on that store, I wouldn't change it b/c she's not available.... jmo.
Sorry, can't help with other places to look. (other than the obvious BRU) but i never cared for their Christening outfits anyway.

that's why i said - I wouldn't wait. I would just buy it myself. How about you take your MIL with you, since the SIL can't make it til five??

NOT AN OPTION!!!
Shes at a party til 4- so i asked her to come straight here, for we could make a couple stores then...She said no... she wants to go to her moms first n change, shes not going out dressed up
So-Im gonna try the flea market n stradsburg children @ the outlets (there open til 9) if she ends up leaving in the late afternoon...then we'll be able to hit a few boutiques...if not then I just go with my mom or something....

I don't where you live or where you're willing to go, but there is a store in the Sunrise Mall called Lobel's that has nice stuff. Because it's ina mall, they're open til 9:30.

also tri county is good i got my sons there they are reasonable, nice selection i know its an indoor flea market and most people think yuck but my husbands family is all about image and they didnt mind it so just an idea. but i as well dont know where you live and they dont stay open that late

So Adorable in King Kullen shopping center in Mt Sinai, and Little Shop For Babies in Smithtown.
We got Cassidys at Little Dickens. They have beautiful things. So do these other 2 shops that I mentioned, but I think when it comes to childrens boutiques, they might all close early.
