I start in mid-October and get most of it done by Thanksgiving (except for the present exchange we do with DH's family - on both sides). I'll have 4 presents to buy in December.

Black Friday. I LOVE SHOPPING ON BLACK FRIDAY!!! I really do find amazing stuff. I am usually done by mid-december.

i dont really have a set date... we really don't have many people to buy for. his parents, my parents, and my sister and her DH... thats pretty much it. we don't have kids yet, DH is an only child, and my sister doesn't have kids yet either, so no neices and nephews to buy for.
we also have a big group of friends, and i usually make something small for each of them ( last year i did hot cocoa mix in a jar). the one time i like having a smaller family
