Anyone else going for 28 week sono?

Anyone else going for 28 week sono?
After my 20 week u/s yesterday, the dr asked me to come back for a 28 week u/s to monitor the growth.
Is this standard? Or should I be worried that the baby is too small?

i think my next one is 36 weeks or something like that ...they never mentioned 28.
i would think that they would of told you if the baby was small

I did, they wanted me to come back for a growth sono. Nothing was wrong, they just wanted me back. Don't worry, think of it as a chance to see your little one again!!

I didn't get a chance to talk to the DR - he was running late - so I got the message from the U/S tech. It didn't occur to me to ask then.
I had a reg check up with my OB yesterday but she didn't have the results yet. She said to call her early next week and she'd discuss.
They said everything was fine- but I wondered if 28 week u/s was standard or not - and if not - why am I getting one?

I have heard that the Dr will have you come in for as many sonos as your insurance will cover.

I had a growth sono at 28 weeks because I have a kidney disease and am considered high-risk...otherwise I wouldnt have had one.

Every Dr is different. I had sonos at 8, 22, and coming up at 35 weeks.
Dont worry they would tell you if they had cause for concern.
