Have you noticed as you get older

that your hair color changes? (I don't mean to gray)

My hair seems so dark lately. When I was little it was blond, and then it was light brown for a long time, but now it seems like its an even darker brown.

Re: Have you noticed as you get older

I have definitely noticed that! It seems like each summer it lightens a bit from the sun but never to its lightest, and in the winter it darkens just a bit more then the previous years.

Hence why I started dying my hair. Chat Icon

Yes mine has definitely gotten darker since I was a child and now I have low lights put in to make it darker because I prefer that shade now.

Hey, as long as its not going grey yet, its fine by me!

Re: Have you noticed as you get older

Hmmm, I don't know. I've always had dark hair, some people argue with me telling me it's black, but it's dark brown.

I've never dyed it. Could that possibly have an affect on your hair color darkening as you get older?

Re: Have you noticed as you get older

It's funny you brought this up because I just got back from having my hair highlighted and I was just telling my hairguy that my hair was just about black when I was younger and it is more of a medium brown now.

When me and my sisters were little, we used to have this white blonde hair... over the years we've all gone from having that white blonde hair to different shades of blonde between the three of us... all natural by the way! Chat Icon

Mine hasn't really changed in color, but after I had my 2 kids and went through pp hairloss, the hair that regrew, came in a totally different texture. I used to have pin-straight hair, and now its wavy and very frizzy!
