So I had to call 911 on th way to work today

I called because there was a green pick up truck driving erraticly swerving in and out of traffic going at least 100 miles an hour. I could see the license plate long enough when it got stuck infront of me because of a truck.

So I call and I tell the 911 operator that it's a green and white license plate, didn't look like one of the state license plates and I read the plate to her. Do you know what she tells me, it's a public saftey truck. I said well he certainly is not taking the public's safety into account driving like this. Of course he got off right at the 1st prec.

I hate how people that are supposed to make us feel safe take advantage. That is awful.

yeah and what's with cops driving around on their cell phones? Also, them speeding without their sirens..

Are they better drivers than the rest of the public? I guess they are trained for high speed pursuit and such and could be on a covert mission without their sirens.

When I asked my SIL this since she's a detective, she said that's just the way it is. We get to do these things and the general public doesn't. Nice huh?
