LIRR and todays storms
Im so scared that when its time to leave my train is going to be canceled like last thursday!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really just want to get right home tonight

I don't think this weather is supposed to last all day. I think the said last night that there would be thunderstorms into the afternoon--- hopefully they'll clear up early enough not to affect rush hour.

This is my fear too. I was stuck in Jamaica last week and couldn't get to my son at daycare. Now I am nervous the same thing will happen.
I HATE how weather cripples the LIRR all the time.

I just read that it is going to last until tomorrow morning around 7am

I think it will be ok tonight -- last week's problem was lightening which is not the case today. And it doesn't appear to be raining too hard to flood the tracks like those 2 times in the summer.
