I'd give him something at home from you and ds, but if my boss's wife had sent a boss's day gift to him I'd think it was a not so subtle hint that I was supposed to get him something, and then I'd be spending my lunch hour scrambling to find something.

NM. I guess I should have explained it a little better. The staff is extremely small and all family. And I am also the staff
I think I am going to send him cookies and then I can eat them too
