So I just gotta a call
from Growing Family potraits, which is the hospital photo people..
Saying that I get a free 8x10 and free sitting fee, for the inhouse photographer...
Anyone else get this call??
And how bad am I gonna get suckered into buy a bagillion dollars worth of pictures????
Shes coming on Sunday at 230...

I had in a different one, but pretty much the same deal. Their smallest package was $200.

Yes, but they are very good salespeople and it's hard to not buy more. KWIM? They play up the whole "first portraits, they'll never be this small again" blah, blah. I totally fell for it being a sleep deprived new mommy, DH was a little annoyed when he came home.
Oh, and they'll try to sell you a package when they take the pictures for a "discount that's good today only" and then they will try to sell you more when they come back with the proofs. They are good! LOL.

I'm a total sucker, really have no backbone, so it was hard for me to say no. I'm sure you'll be better at it than me.

I got the same call! I told them finally after the 3rd time they called that we just weren't interested. I'd rather seek out someone to take pics then just take someone who calls. They say it's no obligation but I don't want the hassle of being pushed to buy something.
Let us know how it goes though! Maybe if it goes well and they don't push you, I made the wrong decision!

Lol, I know! I didn't get a costume for Emily because I knew we wouldn't take her trick or treating, so she just has some halloween outfits -- but now I WANT to buy her a costume just so I can dress her up and take her picture!!!
And I was thinking of getting photo greeting cards made upw ith her halloween pics. How crazy would that be? People would think I'm nuts!!

You know what though? You can never have too many pictures! You can always go back later and make up an awesoem albumn or scrapbook! I need to get started on that myself.
