Anyone who recently ordered furniture have any isses with China?
A friend recently told me that we shouldn't buy anything that might of been manufactured in China. I think one piece of my furniture was made there...but the company reassured me that they are checking every batch that arrives from China thoroughly and it must pass a rigourous inspection before entering the US.
Anyone else order anythign that was made in China..?

i think 90 percent of it is from china...LOL just order from a reputable company....

Most of the cribs sold in the U.S. are either made in China or have some portion of them made in China. A company may assemble the crib here, but they may purchase wood, stain, or paint from China.
I would call a company and ask though I don't know that you will find it easy to get a complete answer. I think it's nearly impossible to avoid getting some part of your crib, or toys or other furniture from China at this point.

None of the furniture we bought is from china. My mom (who bought us the nursery) made a big point of asking and wanting to see proof of where the stuff is made. She actually embarrassed me a few times!
