She moved there when we were 13 years old. I was so sad she wasn't going to my new HS with me.
We've been best friends now for 30 years  I see her maybe 2x a year.

My best friend moved when we were 7. That was before AOL and AIM so we communicated via snail mail. And our parents allowed us to call each other for our birthday...that's it.
I find it quite amazing that we kept in touch those years but I am certainly grateful we did!

She's coming to visit on Thursday

I have 2 - one lives in Florida, the other in Brooklyn but he's working on a cruise ship till Feb so I haven't seen him in months.

We live south of Boston.. My best friend lives on L.I. in Massapequa Although we still manage to see eachother at least once a month! It's hard traveling though..
