behrs vs BRU
which has better furniture? is Behrs expensive? where are they located?

I got my furniture at Behr's. I looked everywhere including BRU, BBB, and Bellini and just found what I was looking for at Behr's. I think it was more expensive then BRU. It is on 107 in Seaford/Massapequa area.

Behrs definately. My mother got the furniture when my brother was a baby from there(hes 31) and it is all still in perfect condition after being used by my brother and me...and the dresser that is still in my bedroom at my moms is the original one and is in perfect condition. You can tell its better quality because the drawers are dove-tailed, etc, whereas the ones I saw at BRU are not.

If better you mean better quality hands-down Behrs. Someone explained to me it is like "adult furniture" - it is meant to last. It is more expensive, but so worth it. I did a lot of research and am glad we decided to go with Behr's.

It depends on the manufacturer. Both stores sell a variety of manufacturers and some are better than others. I looked at Baby Bargains, and then looked at the furniture they recommended, and I can't say that I agree 100% with what the book said.
For example, one manufacturer I was looking at the book said corner blocked & dovetailed drawers. Well, it depended on which collection because not all collections were dovetailed, and there is a difference between french & english dovetailing.
You really have to look closely at the construction, not just the physical appearance.
