Anyone else make themselves hurt over things they used to normally do?

DH is working until tomorrow, so today I was ambitious to get stuff done!

Woke up at 7am (even though I had the whole bed to myself)
Started laundry (4 loads, had to also wash curtains to pack)
Packed another box
Cleaned bathroom and kitchen, so DH can do floors tomorrow
Vacuumed, including the stairs
Then ran errands (BJs, fortunoffs, and supermarket)

I think the vacuuming of the stairs killed my back. MY lower back has always been sensitive, but now it really aches.

I used to always drag the vacuum down and up the stairs.

Maybe no more?Chat Icon

It is now VERY hard for me to do anything that requires bending down. Since we have a new home, it's a bit of a problem to get some of the cleaning and unpacking done, though thankfully, most of it is done now.

I had hoped to do more gardening this Fall, plant bulbs, etc., but I just have to come to grips with the fact that I can't do that kind of work now. I'd ask DH, but there is a lot of other stuff he is doing around the house that is more important. Oh well-next year!
