Advice Please...
So turns out that interview I was waiting on will still happen. The women lost my number and contacted someone I know and wants me to call her.
But then this same person we both know said I need to be careful because she is a very very hard person to work for. Do you think I should even bother? My gut says not to even bother.

I would go for it. Waht do you have to lose. What can she do siunce you are WAH? As someone who works from home most other things are worth it!

As someone who has worked for VERY difficult people, if you can deal with it & stay with them...they value you even more.

I would still go through with it.
What one person thinks is tough another person may think is tolerable.
You should be the judge.

I agree, you should call. Just because the other person doesn't get along with them doesn't mean you will have the same issues.

I would go for the interview anyway, although I, myself hate working with people like that. The only way to validate her opinion is to judge for yourself.

i would go for it. Just going on the interview doesn't hurt...you can always turn the job down if it's offered to you.
I will say this though - make sure you listen to your intuituion as you speak to your would-be boss. Try to get a feel for the type of manager she is. When I was interviewing for my current job, there was some awkwardness between me and my now boss...in the back of my mind, i remember thinking that I wasn't 100% sure we 'clicked'...that something was a little off. It's 4+ months later and it turns out that my intuition was right - my boss is a pyscho.

absolutely go for it. What can an interview hurt, hear it from her. You have to work for her, not your friend. I had a boss that no one could stand, but I had no problem with them. You never know you might hate the position or actually like her.
