Since we have three of them now and they are very prone to be stolen more than any other computer, we got this and thought I would share..

It's software that you install that if your mac is ever stolen, you contact the company with the unique number that they give you and behind the scenes the company is receiving pictures of the person using the computer, the ip address, the network address and eventually the physical address...eventually leading the police to recover. If they can't locate it, the screen eventually goes black and unusable and once it is sold on ebay or to a third party, the company leaves a message on the computer saying that it is stolen.

Worth the money to recover, in my opinion..
