Shoe/ department stores in Jamaica, NY
does anyone know of anywhere? I am picking up DH at work, and he needs to buy new workboots before we go into the Mets game.
Any ideas will help- anywhere in between Hollis and Flushing.

Well there is a Macys on Roosevelt Ave in Flushing but there is no way in God's green earth you will ever find parking so you can drop him off while you drive around the block....hmmmm I am thinking of what other stores are around.....

Isn't there some huge shoe store on Jamaica Ave or one of those other big streets in there?
I thought I remembered someone telling me that.

Yeah there are tons of stores on Jamaica Ave - I am not sure of the exact locations or names though sorry.

There are a million stores on Jamaica ave between 160th st & Sutphin Blvd (where the lirr is). You can go to Modell's, VIM's, Dr Jay's or any other sneaker store for work boots. There's no parking though, unless you park in a lot (about $5)
