They came out soooo nice!! What kind of paint did you use to paint them??
I used water-based acrylic craft paints. They come in little bottles of maybe an ounce or two in the craft stores. My MIL was a big crafter and made a lot of painted items, and she passed away two summers ago so I inherited use of all her materials -- so I had about 100 colors to chose from and just about every paintbrush style available. It helped to add a lot of the details. If I had to buy all the colors I wouldn't have gone all out.
