Investing... How to learn the basics
I would love to learn about how to invest (wisely). Right now I'm clueless, but I would prefer to invest my money in companies I believe in and wish to support rather than allow my bank or another financial institution deciding for me (and possibly investing my $$ in companies whose policies I am IO to).

Motley Fool is pretty good. I find investment talk boring as hell, but Motley Fool makes it (relatively) interesting.
I'm a strong believer in investing in companies whose product or general philosophy is something you believe in. That's as good a starting place as any.
