not to aid you in your self-fulfilling prophecy, but we had a girls name picked out from the beginning with no arguments. We of course had a boy & decided like the day before.
Same here...the boy's name was decided immediately, but the girl's name we actually thought of whole I was in labor in the hospital!
It's a good thing we had a name for her when she arrived!

Hey... There's nothing wrong with Skylar!!!   I wanted that as a boy's name but my DH said no way, it sounds like a girls name. I really like it. I had a friend in school who was a boy and his name was Skylar Thomas. I lost. If we have another baby at some point, boy or girl, Skylar might be the name!

That's too funny because if it's a boy his middle name will definitely be Thomas!!! But definitely not Skylar....sorry.....
