When I worked at an animal hospital, a puppy swallowed a needle and thread. The needle was hanging out of his butt and the thread was hanging out of his mouth. So, it wasn't obvious to me. Stranger things have happened, believe that! I could tell some stories that sound crazy but are totally true.

You can tell it's fake by looking at when they're pulling the cord out. The cats movement is unnatural looking.
