Now he's constipated.
2 days of violently explosive pooping and now today he can't poop - keeps straining and screaming...but I know it's not gas because he's farting. What can I do to help it along?? Usually when I change him with the whole leg lifting thing it helps, but not today.
I worry far too much

Ryan was like this too the past 2 days... I took his temp. rectally and about an hour later he pooped!

The thermomter with some vasaline can always be helpful.

Emily was constipated for a few days and then all of a sudden she was like a never ending faucet of poop! If you are breastfeeding your diet may have something to do with it. I'm not sure if you are or not. I'm pumping and she gets my milk in bottles so I try to eat lots of fruits/vegs to keep her from getting constipated.

Sometimes letting them sit in a warm bath helps get things moving.
And the thermomter with vasoline always works for us.

Well, I tried the thermometer this am and so far nothing I'm going to wait out today and then call the dr tomorrow. He's so miserable!!!!
