So I can't believe it but ...
I just joined Match.com! I have been single for awhile now and I am not getting any younger so I figured I would give it a shot. I have heard recently a lot of people who actually met there DH on match or another online dating. Has anyone met there DH on match?

I met my husband online, it really does work ..  (we met on Yahoo Personals, but it was the same thing as Match, more or less)
Once you get used to weeding through all the crazies who will email you  there are some nice people on those sites. I used to think of it like this when I was on there.. I am normal, I'm not crazy.. there must be ONE man like that on here too

Noellie - I had Pre Cana with a couple who met on Match - They were engaged within 6 months - I think it is a great thing! I think you never know what can happen and you can find love where you least expect it!

I met my dh online. NOt through a dating service but in a chatroom! It does work! We've been together 8 years and married 1 1/2 years.
You may want to sign up on myspace.com. It is free and it can also be used for dating, networking, friends, etc.
A lot of LIF/LIW gals are on myspace as well.

My friend married a great guy from JDate (jewish dating site).
Another friend seems to be doing pretty well with Yahoo or NY Magazine's dating site.

Thanks everyone for all you advice and good wishes! I can't believe how many of you guys met your DH through online dating services. I am having a lot of fun with it so far. I talked to an intersting guy online last night for over an hour. What I like about match is that if someone "Winks" (that's what they call it) at you -if you are not interested you don't have to respond.
I will keep you all updated
