spinoff to my own enlargement post

For those of you who got 16x20 or larger, do you have your enlargement matted and framed, so that it is like 26x30? Or do you just have a frame the size of the photo?

this is my problem...we have a 16x24 now, but matted it will be 26x34 and that is almost poster size But I love the matte, so I'm thinking of downsizing to 12x20 and framing and matting that.

Thoughts?

Ours is 16x20 and matted to around that size, maybe a little smaller. We have it all by it's lonesone on a wall so it doesn't look so huge.

ours is 20x24, it is framed without a mat. if you put it on a large enough wall, it will look fine. if ours were bigger i def would still like it because we have it on a large wall with nothing else.

We haven't gotten ours yet, but I'd like to see how it looks with just the frame. It's a lot of background so I think we'll be ok, otherwise I'll try to get a small matte so it won't be huge.
