Re: How do I find someone???

wow! i googled her name and found some scores of something she did, but then i googled her husbands name and was able to find a phone number that went along with it.
i did a reversal search and its theirs!!!!
it came up with a n adress and as soon as i saw the address i remembered it was correct!

i am so excited!!!!!

now, ill probably be too chicken to actually call her!

Re: How do I find someone???

I just saw this on Teachers, and was going to even suggest getting on the Bay Shore schools' site and try to get the husband's email or just contact the main office.
I am glad you found it!!!
Now, if she is in your head, contact her!
I can only speak for myself, but as a teacher, Id be flattered if a former student contacted me to say thanks. (Wait, it is something *positive* right?? I'd fall over if I got a call from a former disgruntled student re: all the homework I gave or lack of recess time.Chat Icon )
In all seriousness....do it!!!!Chat Icon

What about that classmate.com reunion site.. There are searches on there you can type peoples name and if they are registered they will find them for you.. I used it for when a lady Hit and Ran my car and i had some of her info from accident report (sucker got caught)

Re: How do I find someone???

I agree with Daisy. contact her, if it's been on your mind.

I contacted a college professor years later and told her how much I appreciated things she did, ways she taught, and how it affected me, how and why I remembered specific things.

she was touched beyond words. esp since in college it seems like a big whirlwhind of students sometimes.

she was just speechless on the phone. her voice was even shaky and she was just very moved.

Ive been meaning to also write a letter, so maybe if you contact your teacher, I'll write that letter to her too. Chat Icon

Re: How do I find someone???

thanks.

we were actually very good friends!!

we lost touch when i got kicked out of my house and she had a newborn.

my moms neighbors sister lives acorss the street fom her i think.. my mom said she was asking about me, but i figured looking online would be easier than asking and playing "telephone" with 4 people!

i had to work today, but maybe i will call her tomorrow. im nervous though!
