my boss
what an A**hole
he's out of the office today for the funeral of a family member.
he just sends me an email from his phone that says :
really makes me feel comfortable to know you have had NO communication with me to ensure all is well. I guess nobody called and everything is perfect.
ummm, i try not to page and email and call people who i know are at a funeral mass!!! If you had wanted to speak to me, maybe you would have asked for me the 3x you called the office this morning!

I would simply respond "Out of respect for you and the people at the funeral, I haven't contacted you today. Thanks for checking in with me and I hope you are doing well"
