Ok, so mom and dad are moving to Holtsville. Where is all the shopping, restaurants, and drug stores?

They would probably be closest to North Ocean.
There is shopping center there with Stop n Shop, K-mart, a bagel store etc.
Also right there is - Friday's, Applebee's, McDonalds, Taco Bell, Seven Eleven, Gas Stations.
Not sure where there is a drug store though.

I know there is Walgreens and CVS over on Rt112. Not sure if that too far for them!

If you're in that Stop & Shop & K-mart plaza on N. Ocean go to the traffic light on Horseblock - cross the street...and bam - CVS.
Sidenote: The Applebees over there is the BEST EVER!!! The few times we went there it was definitely the freshes out of any Applebees we've ever been too.
