I have a loose Diamond in my anniversary band
I brought it to my jewler to get fixed last week. It took 10 days - I finally got it back and the diamond is still loose.
Does anyone have a place they REALLY trust that I can bring my ring to to get fixed...maybe in Nassau??

My wedding band is from Elsa's. I have never used them for repairs but they did excellent work on creating my wedding band.

I third Elsa...my engagement ring and wedding band are from there. They fix it right on the spot, usually too. But I would make an appt.

James Joseph Jewelers in the Massapequa mall... If you call ahead of time they will set and appointment for you so you don't have to leave your ring there.. they will also only charge you 10.00 or so to fix it.. some of these other Jewelers will charge and arm and a leg.

My wedding band was made by Elsa's & when I lost a stone from it I brought it right back to them for repair.

what kind of jeweler sends the ring out? 10 days!!
Pick a local one like some of these people have mentioned.
I also like J&H Jewelers in Bellmore and some of the vendors in Tri-County are excellent at repairs and they do it in front of you.
If you are in the city, there's a jeweler right by my building that has doen many repairs for me. Would you believe I forgot the name? I just usually walk in there.
