What to bring?

My boss is having an end of summer clam bake/bbq thing at his house in CT tomorrow. He's arranged for a car service to pick us all up from the office (10 of us) and drive us up there. He lives near a beach or whatever and he keeps his boat there at the boat yard. We're starting at his house, then going to the boat yard for the actual clam bake/bbq. Do I bring something? And if so.. what?

I would not bring dessert. it is likely they have all the food items planned. I would bring a nice bottle of wine or liquor, if you know what he drinks.

lol, you know why that's funny? I hate them too! I think they are so dry.. But almost everyone else in my office loves them... I think it's the cupcake TOP that they actually like... I don't need dessert anyway, so if I get something I don't really LOVE I have a better chance of staying away.. Chat Icon

Very nice, indeed...it's a $200 bottle of scotch.

ETA: I like the beer idea...maybe a few different 6 packs of local brewers. (Not really a fan of a beer that you have to add fruit to.)
