First doctors visit next Tuesday.....
I have my first offical dr. visit next week and I was wondering if DH should come with me?
Is it normal for him to come to all the visits? Or does he just come to certain ones? I am pretty sure they are doing my first sonogram, and I really think he should be a part of it.
What do you think???

My DH came with me for about the first 5 visits or so. He loved it when he got to hear the heartbeat!
As the visits got closer together, it was harder for him to come. HOnestly, the regular visits when there was no ultrasound, usually take about 5 minutes, so I didn't ask him to come. It was always the same routine... weight, blood pressure, pee in a cup, listen to the heartbeat.. go home! Not much fun for DH!
He did come to all ultrasound appointments, though. If the baby doesn't come as scheduled on Sunday, we have another one on Tuesday that he will come to.

check whether it is the ultrasound...if it isn't, the visits are kind of boring for them.
My last one had an ultrasound and he wanted to come, and the next one he will be coming to as well.

My ob does a sonogram at every visit. Dh has been to every one but the first. I am high risk and I was scared to bring him to the first one. If there was a problem I wanted to have time to myself before having to tell him. Selfish I know but I had to do it.

My DH has come to with me to all my doctor visits. The sonogram visits are the most interesting and exciting.

If my DH's schedule permits...he'll be there...so far he's been to all and coming with me to our ultrascreen and 12th week appointment next week.

My DH has come to all of them so far, but will probably stop after the Level II. Then he'll just come to the biggies/ultrasound one thereafter.

My Dh comes whenever I have an ultrasound. He came to my 8 week and 10 week ultrasound and will be coming to my level II in three weeks.
