Does anyone use this bcp? Any side effects from it? Do you ever use it to skip your period with success?

I was on it for several months, and I had horrible side effects: mostly mood swings, irritability, depressed.

I have heard a lot about really bad mood swings and depression. I am wondering if I should even try it. My dr. seemed to think it was a great choice for me. I guess I'll try it and see how it work out. Thanks for your response!

I've been on and off Yasmin for years and have been lucky enough never to have had any bad side effects.

The only side effect I seem to have lately is the last 2 months I was spotting 2 weeks before my period for several days then a full period for 5 days.. it's like having 2 periods.
Thank god I am going off it in 2 weeks.

Everyone is different, and the only way you'll find out is to try it. If you don't like it you can always switch to another pill (just be sure to give the Yasmin two or three months...you should give any BCP two or three months and see how you feel after that time frame)
