Ma'am
I am 30 as of last wednesday...I know I am not 18. I have always been told that I look younger and am finally seeing why I would like that (after years of fighting it)
but I have noticed since the miracle of birth I get called ma'am...A LOT  sometimes without my beloved daughter.
what age do you lose miss and become a ma'am.
I am loving the dirty old men now, it's always MISS with them....

I think it was only a few years ago I started getting called Ma'am....I almost crapped a brick  Sir I am no Madam!

I'm probably in the minority, but I think being called ma'am is good manners - it doesn't make me feel old, it makes me feel like a grown up. Ma'am is better than young lady, to me.

Yeah, men don't see it as an insult (like we do ) They do it out of respect. Which I guess I can give them SOME credit for....but not much since they should know better

not ma'am, but miss maybe. Young lady is weird...and dear is old. But ma'am. I felt like a middle-aged woman walking out. I actually told the girl, who was about my age, NOT to call me ma'am I did say please.

I JUST got teary-eyed today over this same exact thing. I'm 28, not 55! I AM NOT A MA'AM!
I yelled at some kid in Macy's when Corinne and I went last week for calling me ma'am. I don't think I got through to him

I get it all the time and I am only 23. What makes it worst is that sometimes its from 16 and 17 year olds. I think to myself, "hey I not that far from your age."
