Caffeine - repost
What have your doctors said about caffeine?
I ask b/c my doc didn't stress me out about the amount I could have - in fact I would't have had to cut back at all.
I know every doctor is different so I would love to hear what you have been told. Thanks.

My Dr. told me two 8oz cups a day. However when I got my BFP I stopped caffeine all together, and haven't really had any since then.

I was told it was ok to have caffeine but I shouldnt drink a pot of coffee every day.
I just tried to be aware of how much caffeine I had.

I was told 1 cup of coffee a day is fine, and if there are days that I have a second cup, it is not the end of the world.

My doctor said absolutely no caffeine in the 1st trimester, and then to have it in moderation for the remainder of the pregnancy. I only have it when I have chocolate now.

My doctor also said not to have any caffeine in the first trimester. But then again, my doc is super strict.

i was told not to overdo it, maybe 2 cups per day...I usually have a half regular/half decaf when i wake up, then another decaf later, and then maybe some chocolate later in the day..
that should be fine

My Dr. said 2 cups a day. I stayed away from it in the 1st tri (which was hard because I was exhausted) but now, it my 2nd tri I've been having 1-2 cups a day.

My doctor said 1 cup a day is fine. Some days, I just don't have any coffee and some days I drink closer to two smaller cups. I used to drink the whole pot but that's definitely over!

From the beginning my doc said 2 cups a day is fine.
I have 1 medium DD coffee in the morning and that's it.

Mine said a cup a day is fine. I actually wound up giving it up--the smell and taste of coffee disgusted me during the first few months, so I decided to just not drink regular coffee anymore.
