SIRM--what to do?

Based on recommendations, I was going to see Batzofin, but found out he has left SIRM.

What would you do:
-follow Batzofin to a new clinic?
-or see Sher at an established clinic?

do not goto this clinic!!!I just left there with no success at all they were extremely unprofessional,The meds they put me on almost made my heart come out if my chest..the city office made me wait all day ,the day of my transfer.my appointment was at 1pm, they didn't take me until 7pm..it was all rushed..my ivf cycle didn't take..I heard only 2 took out of the 30 something transfers he did that day..please do not use them...I could kick myself for listening to a friend, when i should have done more research..it''''s my own fault...

Wow -- I am totally surprised to read this. I have read a lot of posts on IVFConnections and Dr. Batzofin seems to have a lot of success -- my DD being one of them.

When I went I loved the staff and the whole experience of going there. I had been to 2 other clinics beforehand and found SIRM to be much more on the ball, more aggressive, and just great to work with.

However, I have heard not such great stories about working with Dr. Sher himself when he comes to NY to do cycles. Maybe that is when the office is a mess and everyone falls behind. Also I have heard not such good things about the office staff lately which makes me think there have been some changes.

If it were me, I would follow Dr. Batzofin to see what he can offer.

If we decide to try for No. 2, I will be seekiing him out.

i felt the same way too..I had such bad experiences before..they felt like a breath of fresh air until i was in the mist of the whole ivf cycle it all went down hill after that,i felt like a sucker,there all the same ..good luck
