Those who had to go for the 3-hour...
How did you pass the time in the waiting room? I am bummed enough that I failed the 1-hour and badly!..... Do they make you stay? And what do you do? Thanks!

Yup, I had to stay the whole time.
I brought my laptop and mobile broadband card and typed away on LIF!!!!
Maybe bring a book or some magazines?

I brought a book and my ipod.
And I know some people said they could leave, but I was not allowed to, they said they didn't know what I was doing if I left and it could alter the test results

I brought dh to suffer with me. . .& some magazines. By the third hour I went to wait in the car. I think you're not supposed to leave because the test is most accurate when your body is at rest

I was not allowed to leave. I read my book and napped a bit because the office I went to was really quiet.

they told me no sleeping, walking around or leaving...thankfully there was another girl there waiting with me for her 3 hr so that helped pass the time.

I brought a book and actually the girl that worked there and I chatted for most of the time. I went to a new Labcorp that had just opened and they had no patients except me!

I had to take the 3- hour in my second pregnancy. I was able to do it in my doc's office, so I just bought a lot of magazines with me and it went much faster than I thought it would.

I read my book, listened to my Ipod and watched TV... it wasnt that bad.. maybe just the last 1/2 hr or so.

I had to wait and I was bouncing off the walls from all the sugar. I made DH go with me to keep me company and bought a magazine to read.
