Caffee on the Green
which way is better...taking the belt to the cross island orr the belt to van wyck/whitestone to cross island. i'm coming from brooklyn

Well the Belt Stinks no matter how you slice it so I would just go from the Belt to the CI.

Neither, they both stink
Listen to the traffic report before you go and see which is worse. It is right off the Cross Island, but sometimes on Sundays the Belt is a mess.

it's a crap shoot- what time are you going? I can see the cross island from my apartment and can give you a heads up
(there is always the clearview)

ok- I should be home- I will give you an update 
so many factors- but most likey there will be traffic heading towards the bridge- people coming back from the beach and hamptons
if the traffic is bad- get off on the express way or grand central heading west- and take the clearview north- no one is ever on the clearview- then get off at the last exit before the bridge and make a left- you will be right there
