Spinoff on junk room

Do you think there's a market for a company that would come in an organize your junk rooms and closets?

My cousin is ridiculously talented with organization (a little OCD). Her home is immaculate and organized. She's always been this way. She organized my pantry for me a few months ago..wow!

I've discussed starting a company to do this...me doing the marketing and sales and her doing the organizing of course with a staff that she could train after a while..Hey-a TV show!!!!

what do you think? Would you pay someone to do this for you?

I use to work with a professor who paid someone to organize his office and his apartment. I think it could be a good business!

yes, there is a market. They have all those shows with professional organizers.

I think it works best if you are an interior designer too.

if i had the money to i would def hire someone like thiis! im pretty organized but not how i would like to be i dont have the space!

HGTV has shows that do this exact thing. "Mission Organization" is just one of the shows they have.

ppl would definitely pay for a service like that IMO.

If it was a reasonable price, I would most def. have someone come and figure out my garage!

Definately. I so need someone to come into my garage and go through everything. I always feel a need to keep something b/c you never know when you'll need it. Even though it's in a box stored in the attic you never know right

I definately need someone to come in when I am not home, start tossing stuff and just organizing my garage.

Everything in the house is completely organized and my OCD much kicks in but the garage just has stuff that really should be organized. even my treadmill is in the garage

Absolutely! I would have her start taking some before and after pictures of anything she organizes or helps with. People would definitely need that.

We both could use a change and if we start out small with friends and family we could use that as our demos.

Now, how much should we charge?

I guess it would depend on the mess!

She could definitely start with my house. I'm not that good at physical organzition..but I'm good at mental organization and marketing.

I have to give her a call. Her husband has been on her to do this for years. I think she needs a push and as many know, I'm one pushy broad.
