Re: How does turning 30 feel????
Absolutely no different than turning 29.
But age is just a number to me - I don't freak out about getting older...I think it's better than the alternative

Re: How does turning 30 feel????
I felt the same turning 30 as I did turning 20.
Its just a number. I dont feel or act 32, dont let the number dictate your state of mind

Re: How does turning 30 feel????
I'll be turning 30 next year and it does not bother me much. I accomplished everything I pretty much wanted to on my "do before i'm 30 list"

Re: How does turning 30 feel????
I never let age bother me. I thought it would when I turned 30, but I was pregnant with my first child and very excited about a new life.
I dont feel 30, heck, I dont feel 20. I still feel like a kid. Sometimes hard for me to believe I HAVE a kid!
I never think about age. It just doesnt bother me that much.

Dont ask me - I am pushing 40.
Me too. Turning 30 didn't bother me. Turning 40 is bothering me. I remember my mother when she was 40 - I was graduating HS. My son is just starting kindergarten!

Re: How does turning 30 feel????
I will be 30 at Chrismas; DH is turning it soon. It's weird. My parents had 2 kids at this time....and we were little! DH was AT his mom's 30th bday. I know times have changed, and we aren't having kids yet, but sometimes I feel "behind."

I know, it's strange. I clearly remember my mother throwing my dad a 35th surprise party (I was 7 at the time!), and now I'm older than he was!

Re: How does turning 30 feel????
I just turned 30 in July. I don't feel 30 now, but as my bday was approaching, I was feeling old and depressed.
I got over it and feel fine now.

Re: How does turning 30 feel????
I loved turning 30. The last 2 years of my 20s were pretty rough, so I was glad to shut the door on that decade. My 30s have been wonderful - met and married my husband, went back to school and started a new career and got pregnant with my first child. I always say that my 30s have been my best years.
But....I also agree with Racheeee, I did notice a difference after 35.
