I worked at a doctor's office years ago where the group of women in there had formed such a clique and I was not part of their little clique. So I went about my days doing only what I needed to and not feeding into their gossiping frenzy when the doctor in the practice called me into his office and said that I needed to find a solution to my "attitude problem" I went back to my desk, poured all my stuff into a garbage bag, went into his office and put my key on his desk and said "Here is my solution" and left...

Nobody said a word....

I got another job within a week

Yep I sure did. I was working in a Chiropractors office and one of the women was talking to me as if I were an idiot, mind you I had been there for over a year, and she did it in front of patients. I had enough and cursed her out and walked out of the job and never looked back. I called my boss at that time, told him what happened and that I quit and he begged me to stay, but I said NO thanks!! That woman actually got yelled at, but I didn't care. It took me 3 weeks to find another job.

I did once years ago....but even if I wanted to know I wouldn't....too many responsibilities

Yep!

I don't know what I was thinking but I took a waitress job at Lord and Taylor... and these rich lil biotches left me a 10 cent... yest that is a $.10 = 10 cents tip!

I left that day and called the next day and told them I had a broken ankle and I couldn't waitress anymore.

FUnniest thing is... Then the next week I went in and got my paycheck... Stupid people... dosen't everyone know that a broken ankle takes like 6 weeks to heal! hahahah LOL... They didn't even question it...

i did and they begged me to come back here is what went down

i was a customer service lead of a retail sports store

there was a bowling ball that was supposed to be drilled. the customer was in the store and i was looking for it in the back. I found it undrilled and the guy who drills them was not in. so i called the manager on duty to the back of the store. he FLIPPED on me and yelled it was my fault the ball wasnt ready....like screamed in my face. I threw the bowling ball at him and said "I DONT NEED TO BE SPOKEN TO LIKE THIS. F IT I QUIT." I started to walk out of the store and he ran after me and apologized up and down.

i have quit without having something else lined up... but quitting and walking out has only really been a fantasy.
