After all my bloodwork came back normal. I agreed to have the HSG done to see if it can tell me why I cant hold on to a pregnancy. I am going on Thursday and I am getting so nervous.. I heard it can be painful and I dont do pain very well...

I had an HSG a few weeks ago and I didn't experience any pain. I might be in the minority however. Good luck if you want any info please feel free to fm me.
the whole process is over in under 5 minutes so if you do have pain, it will be over fast.

Re: HSG
You say "all" your bloodwork.
You can take these online tests:
tests
If you got your results from yourtesting can you share them with us? Or FM me. Did you get a copy(you should)
Here is a complete list of all immunological tests:
Info
You can also find a list of tests at millenova.com
I had 3 m/c and 1 ectopic and I was told my results were "fine" too. Then I realized I had not been tested for some of the most important things. I was diagnosed with high ANA which is an antibody that attacks cell nuclei-obviously interfering with an embryo's cell division. The only thing I can say is, if you want your own baby you are going to have to be really pro-active and advocate for yourself. I'm sur eyou will soon be getting the "why don't you try a surrogate" speech. Good luck. FM if you want help

They will fax them to you if you send a letter giving them permission. As far as the hsg I had one-it was relatively painful, I would take a painkiller if you have one. But it is over quickly. My DH came in the room with me. I had the hsg they told me it looked good and tubes were clear and then I had an ectopic 4 months later

Re: HSG
For me the worst part of the HSG was the waiting period beforehand. I sat in my hospital gown almost shaking in fear until I was called.
There was not much in the way of pain for me during the procedure or after. Maybe very light AF typecrmps. i took 4 advils beforehand.
Good luck!

Re: HSG
For me it was very painful, but was over before I knew it. I had no pain afterwards. Just some slight period like cramps.
