Beaches near Greenport
Can anyone recommend any beaches DH and I should def. visit while we are in Greenport next week? THANKS!!

My favorite beach out there is in Cutchogue (about 15 minuites west of G-port). If you are interested I can FM you directions.

Founders Landing in Southold...then there are several beaches on the sound side if you prefer that.

The two town beaches in greenport that I know about are Manhasset beach which is a sand beach and has a lifeguard on duty. the other is Truman's beach, which is in East Marion (a town further east from greenport but very close) Truman's beach is a pebble beach but I don't think that there is a lifeguard on duty.
