Spent last night at L&D
So after a long stressful day at work, I went to Penn to find it packed wall to wall and really hot. Smoke in the tunnel, my train was 40 minutes late. Got home wolfed down some leftovers and raced to Dr. appt. Then DH got stuck on way to meet me and eventually got there very cranky and argumentative.
They took my BP and said relax, we'll re-take in a few minutes. Dr. comes in and talks about how baby is very big and our options as far as c-section, and that she won't induce a big baby. Does an internal - it really hurt. THEN they took my BP. OF COURSE it was high. 150/100
They sent me to L&D to rule out preeclampsia. By the time we got there it was 117/74, 30 minutes later it was 96/64. None the less I had to be on monitors for 30 minutes and wait - for over 2 hours for labs to come back. All normal. We got home at 2:30 am so i skipped work today (it was supposed to be my last day) and will have to go in on Monday.

Glad to hear that your bp dropped.
Get some rest today and enjoy the weekend. Even though you have to go in on Monday it is still your last day.
