What goes on the crib mattress?
Okay I am wondering what I need for the crib besides a mattress and mattress pad. Do you need additional things under the crib sheet besides a mattress pad?

no. you may want to get a couple of sheet savers for over the crib sheet though to prevent changing sheets in the middle of the night due to accidents?

I was told to also put a crib wedge under sheet to make sure babies head was elevated a little and I put another waterproof crib pad over the mattress pad in case of an accident.

That's really not necessary unless your baby has acid reflux.

Does it go under the fitted crib sheet or on top of it? Or is it the only sheet?

That's really not necessary unless your baby has acid reflux.
It actually is used to prevent acid reflux and to promote easy breathing for the baby. I figured it can't hurt it can only be useful.

It goes on top of the sheet. You put the sheet on the matress and then thecrib sheet goes over that, but you still see the sheet from the side (if that makes any sense). It doesn't go around the mattress, so that if there's an acident you don't have to take the whole mattress up and change the sheets, instead, you just remove the crib sheet and replace it with the other one you have.
I haven't had to use it yet - but I'm thinking it'll be a lifesaver one day!!

This is the best invention EVER. I love the ultimate crib sheet. I wish they made them in colors other than white.
