Those with Sirius radio - need some help please!!!
Help me!! I seem to have so many problems lately...
I had a sirius radio that was stolen last year. I never had any static problems with it, but if I did, I could change radio stations easily by going into menu and choosing another station from the FM transmitter option. They always had different stations to choose from,a dn it worked well
DH bought me a new Sirius over xmas to replace the stolen one. It took a while to hook up because we were so busy.
But my new one is giving me a lot of static problems. It happens more so near where I live (Northport) - but its frequent enough to give me problems.
But, the biggest problem is - when I go into FM transmitter option on the menu, there are a few stations and the rest are empty. I used to be able to add new stations in my old Sirius, but this one won't let me
Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do, and while I'm at it - what radio station do you tune into to get good reception on your Sirius? I am about to lose my mind with all the static!!!

I havn't had many static problems, only here and there...still much better than listening to the regular radiom.

Use the Sirius Frequency Finder and put in the zips of most of the places you are, and then pick a common station between them. (I put in home and work and found the common station between them.)

When you get one stolen, they send you a new one! That's what happend with DH.
As the AP said, I use the frequency finder, but usually 88.6 works well for us.
