I gave my mom the guest list of people she didnt have and I gave her what weekends would be good (child related)..she worked out the rest of the details.

DH can't keep a secret either so he asked not to be told. It was a surprise until about two weekends before, I just figured it out.

Somewhere in between... I requested certain things like I wanted it casual in my mom's backyard with a hero. And they gave me a 3 week timeframe of when it would be.

I knew when (I had to come in from out of state for it) and I eventually knew the place and most of the guest list because there was some drama around it.

Mine is supposed to be a surprise, but there's a limited number of weekends available that they could possibly have it. So I think I know when it is, I just don't know where.

I know about my shower, but not too many details. I had to know since family will be coming to stay with me, they are all from OOT. So far I have 10 people crashing at my house

i live in FL and have to go back to NY for baby shower - so its not going to be a surprise, but, I am not participating in planning it at all.
I want as much of the shower aspects to be a surprise as possible.
