Do we think this is a little "off"?
If you found out an ex-boyfriend (dated for over 4+ years) ended up marrying someone that looks (exactly) like you and has the same name?
Do you chalk it up to coincidence?
Story: Ex-boyfriend got engaged and married to a girl my age, with the name Christine, and looks like me. She looks so much like me that when he sent me pictures from his EParty, my best friend and own husband thought it was me (just a little chubbier.)

Hmm, I don't know. other people have told me my husband looks a LOT like my ex. Scarily so... I don't see it so much because they are sooooo DIFFERENT (thank goodness) But I guess its a look I am drawn too maybe??? I certainly did not marry him to have someone like my ex, quite the opposite really.
Tough one wo call without knowing the person.

The better part of me wants to agree since I always give the benefit of the doubt, but I do have to say that I'd be creeped out if other people thought it was you

I heard through the grapevine my old boyfriend did marry someone very similar personality-wise & looks a lot like me.
I'm sure deep down there are lingering feelings there but I'm sure she's not exactly like me or he wouldn't have married her.

I doubt it's anything mroe than that -
And if you still keep in touch w/ him and are friendly w/ him, you obviously weren't evl to one anonther - Maybe she reminds him of you in the ways he wants, but is compatible w/ him in the ways you were not .............

I agree. My first few boyfriends were all tall, fair and blue eyed. They looked similar and they all played lacrosse or soccer... because that is the kind of guy I was into at the time. And Christine is a fairly common name. If your name were Joselina and he found someone who looked like you with the same name.. I might be slightly more concerned.
But honestly - even if he is trying to replicate you, it should be more of a concern to his poor current wife than to you. That would mean that he obviously thinks you are hot, smart and that he is incredibly dumb for letting you get away.

I've seen this happen before. I onced bumped into an ex-boyfriend who was with a group of friends - guys and girls - and I asked him which one he was hooking up with and he told me the one who looked like me.. I had a good laugh about it, but I really don't think it was because of 'me', but rather he liked my type. Then again, maybe it was me and I just have it like that...  
As far as the name...that is just coincidence. My DH's name is Eric...he's the third Eric that I've dated.
