Does anyone lie....
My DH NEVER puts things away....his shoes, his clothes, anything!. Today he comes home and asks where his missing shoe is. I know exactly where it is but told him I didn't because I've told him a million times to "Put your shoes away." Anyone else do this? I kinda gave me satisfaction to see him seaching for it. BTW we have a dog that likes to steal shoes and hide them.....serves him right!

No, but sometimes I selectively don't hear him when he asks me where I put something that's been left out for far too long. Or if I know what he's looking for and I'm annoyed I'll pretend I don't know what's going on until he asks me directly.
Not nice, but sometimes I just get fed up.

No, but DH left his wedding ring on the ledge in the shower, so I took it and hid it to teach him a lesson and he didnt even ask me about it for THREE DAYS!!!!!!

DH did the same thing - left his wedding ring on the vanity in the bathroom. I saw it there for over an hour so I took it. It took him 1 day to fess up and ask me if I knew where it was. I gave it back to him and he yelled at me for taking it in the first place.

OMGosh! Reminds me of the day we left the laundromat, I look at DHs hand and ask him
"Where is your ring?"
"His mouth dropped"..He lost it! He didn't even notice!! I was soooo pizzed and upset!

sometimes I have no choice...like when DH wants to get a 4th car and I tell him the one he was interested in is already sold

Oh yes! Plus I go even further.
I have told DH a million times not to put his shoes on Jordana's mat. So now when he does, I have started hiding his shoes. I am very honest about this- I told him I hid his shoes. He just has to find it

I dont like the word lie, I prefer to look at it as saving someone from aggrevation. I chose not to tell DH certain things, why upset the applecart.

i do it also.
yesterday, we hear a BEEP. i know it's HIS cell phone that needs to be charged. he refused to get up to find out what the noise was.
long story-short: he spent about 20 minutes chasing his tail trying to figure out what the beeping was. i just sat there.
