I need to find....
a computer repair place/service in Eastern suffolk. SD's 5 yr old dell is stuck in DOS. She only uses it for going online. I want to delete everything & reinstall windows xp.
Anyone have this done?

I used to do that type of stuff, but after having kids, I don't anymore. However, I've heard a lot of positive reviews (including Consumer Reports) about Geek Squad, based in Best Buy stores. They are $$, though.

How computer literate are you?
ETA. Do you have any of the restore discs for the computer? If so you could try and throw in the window xp disc. It will prompt you to install. It's not terribly hard. Most things are done by default.
